Puget Hound is Bellingham’s only pet care facility of its kind—nestled in the natural seclusion of the woods, yet just minutes from downtown and conveniently located near both I-5 and Bellingham International Airport. With over 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor activity space, it’s a true adventure camp where dogs can run, play, climb, and explore—all within a fully enclosed, secure environment.

When the opportunity to purchase Puget Hound arose, we—the Hughes-Gorman family—saw the chance to build something truly special.

As the owners of Pawsitive Dog Training School, we relocated our nationally recognized, award-winning training programs to Bellingham to serve a community we’ve come to love. Local pet parents quickly connected with our passion, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have cared for thousands of dogs across Washington State. Now, we’re thrilled to bring that same level of care, commitment, and excellence to Puget Hound.
